Modularp is a system I am designing for truly open-ended LARP play.
Abilities in the system are represented by a physical card that a character possesses. Each card has a set of Costs and Effects. Via other cards, cards can be destroyed, copied, altered, or otherwise modified. This means that the core rules of the game are actually quite simple, but infinitely expandable.
Calls
Players will only need to know a limited set of keyworded effects to participate in the game. These keyworded effects are known as "calls" and are as follows:
No Call
No call when striking with a weapon means it does 1 damage with no effect.

- Labeled "Zone" (a la artillery bombardment mod)

Cost: 0 Delivery: Touch Effect: Show this card to a person you are touching who is incapacitated, and name one of the following categories. The person must give you a single item from that category, if they possess one, or may respond "none found" if they do not possess one. You may only use this ability on someone once per ten seconds.
